Shadow Days

Prospective students who are currently in the 7th or 8th grade are welcome and encouraged to participate in Mount Assisi’s Shadow Day Program. The program allows future Assisians the opportunity to experience the Academy’s strong spiritual and faith-filled history as well as explore its college preparatory curriculum, dynamic athletic program, and small community environment.

Please take a moment to review the following Shadow Day guidelines:

Parents of prospective students are asked to call or email the Director of Recruitment to schedule an appointment AT LEAST THREE DAYS PRIOR to the desired date. Written permission from the parent must be obtained and presented the day of the visit. A copy of the participation form can be downloaded by clicking here.

Shadow Day appointments can be scheduled throughout the school year on any Monday from Sept. 19 – Dec. 10 (except Oct. 17).

A Student Ambassador will be assigned to accompany your daughter on her Shadow Day experience. If you would like to request a certain MAA student, please do so prior to the scheduled visit.

The MAA schedule begins at 7:35am. and ends at 2:15pm. Participants are required to report directly to the General Office where they will sign in, pick up a Guest Pass and a Free Lunch Voucher, and be greeted by their Ambassador.

All participants are asked to dress appropriately on that day. Dress shirt, blouse, slacks, and skirts are acceptable.

Parents are responsible for providing transportation to and from MAA. School bus policies only allow transportation for registered riders. Therefore, shadow students are not permitted to ride the school bus with a current MAA student.

To schedule a visit, please RSVP online or contact Marina Tadros, Director of Recruitment by phone at (630) 257-7844 ext. 39 or by email at mtadros@mtassisi.org.
