School Sisters of St. Francis of Christ the King
Scholarship Fund

In 2009, the School Sisters of Saint Francis of Christ the King gave Mount Assisi Academy a gift of $100,000 in celebration of the Sisters’ 100 years of ministry in the United States.

The scholarships that will be made available to incoming and current students at MAA for the 2011/2012 school year, as a result of the gift from the Sisters, are listed below. The Sisters requested these scholarships promote academic excellence, and focus on Math, Science, and English/Writing, all areas we like to see MAA students’ performance and achievement excel. The scholarships promote Christian values, service and leadership, as well as take care of those in need – categories that reflect the types of students MAA would like to attract.

Anyone wishing to apply for one of these scholarships must compete the following:
1) Take the MAA Placement Test
2) Register for 2011-2012 School Year
3) Complete the MAA Scholarship Application (.pdf)

Students may be eligible for up to two scholarship awards per year and all scholarships are non-renewable.
