Transportation

Location

Mount Assisi Academy is located in Lemont, Illinois in southwestern Cook County. MAA is easily accessible from I-55, Route 83, Archer Avenue, Bell Road and the newly constructed I-355 south extension.

Bus Service

Bus transportation is provided through a cooperative program with Illinois Central School Bus. The current cost for each student is $1,480 for an entire year of transportation to and from the Academy. Mount Assisi subsidizes over 50% of the total transportation cost.

Activity Bus

For students who are involved in sports or extracurricular programs after school, an Activity Bus is provided every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday as a transportation option. The bus leaves Mount Assisi at 4 p.m.

Student Drivers

Junior and Senior students are permitted to drive to and from school. Siblings and younger students are allowed to carpool with a student driver when parental authorization is received. There is an annual parking permit fee.

Ride Sharing

MAA has put together a website to make it easier for parents and students looking to share a ride. Families make their own matches. There is no fee to participate. MAA Ride Share page
