The MAA Math Team is open to all students who enjoy math and are interested in expanding their base of knowledge in this discipline. This team participates in the Catholic Math League South throughout the school year, as well as the State Math Contest – sponsored by the Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics – in the spring. Practice is scheduled once or twice a week during the “Math” season, and competitions are held Saturday mornings in October, December, February and March.
