Recognizing Outstanding Accomplishments

The Mount Assisi Academy Hall of Fame was established in 2003 to honor individuals who, through their achievements, their exemplary character, and dedicated service, embody the ideals nurtured by Mount Assisi Academy. All faculty, staff, parents, alumnae, School Sisters of St. Francis of Christ the King, alumnae parents and friends may nominate individuals for consideration by the Hall of Fame Awards Committee on a yearly basis.

Listed below are summaries of each Hall of Fame category and current members of the Hall of Fame.

Woman of The Year Award


This award honors a Mount Assisi Academy alumna who graduated at least 10 years ago; has achieved personal and/or professional accomplishments that reflect the Franciscan ideals of service, leadership, lifelong learning and spirituality; and has demonstrated generosity in giving of her time and/or talent to her community, church and society – thus serving as a positive representative of Mount Assisi Academy.

This award honors a faculty or staff member who has been at Mount Assisi Academy for at least five years; best exemplifies Franciscan ideals and is committed to personal and professional development; and incorporates the philosophy of Mount Assisi Academy into everyday living.

Lifetime Achievement Award

This award honors a School Sister of St. Francis of Christ the King, living or deceased, who was or currently serves as an administrator, teacher or staff member; best exemplifies the Franciscan ideals of service to mankind, peacefulness, kindness, humility, and integrity; and inspired/inspires both young and old to give generously of their time and talent in service to God, Church, community and country.
